Communities

Partnership

We partner with a number of organisations to develop innovative community programs that seek to make a real difference in people's lives.

WWF Global Partnership

In June of 2007, The Coca-Cola Company and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) embarked upon a transformational global partnership, bringing our networks, people and brands together, to drive meaningful and large-scale results in freshwater conservation.

One of our recent, joint initiatives is the great Great Barrier Reef Project

Landcare Australia Partnership

Since 2006, we have been working with Landcare Australia in applying innovative management practices to watershed communities. Our recent Watershed Protection and Regeneration Program ensures cleanup, protection and regeneration of many valuable and threatened waterways. Since 2008-9 we continued our support through a Coca-Cola Foundation grant, which is funding water quality and volunteering projects across Australia.

Keep Australia Beautiful

Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) is a long-term partner of Keep Australia Beautiful (KAB) and funded the National Litter Index in 1995. Each year the KAB National Litter Index surveys litter across Australia and finds that beverage containers are a major contributor to the volume of litter. Our Community Grants for Beverage Container Recycling Program will focus on improving out and about recycling behaviour, providing local communities with financial assistance for local recycling programs.
