‘Getting the balance right’ - Bluearth is a non-profit charitable organisation dedicated to improving health and preventing diseases of sedentary living through increased physical activity.

The Coca-Cola Foundation is supporting Bluearth’s longitudinal study “Lifestyle and Health of Primary School Children Research” which examines the health, physical, psychological, social and academic development over a four year period.

The aim of the study is to investigate the impact of the quality and quantity of physical activity and the effectiveness of a carefully designed and sustainable movement education program on the current and future health of Australian children.

Bluearth strives to offer physical activity in an environment rich and rewarding for all participants, with the aim of promoting health for both body and mind.

Through their primary school educational program, ‘Discovery’, they offer a comprehensive activity plan that involves movement, games, and physical interaction, which results in the children developing a healthy sense of self and a positive predisposition to physical activity.
