Coca-Cola, in partnership with Landcare Australia, has embarked on a program to help manage and protect waterways and water sources around Australia.
Coca-Cola will contribute over $130,000 this year to the cleanup, protection and regeneration of precious waterways throughout Australia.
This year Coca-Cola staff will be out and about with Landcare groups clearing up and regenerating waterway areas in a number of states around Australia.
Staff will be rolling up their sleeves to undertake a number of activities including:
Weed removal and control to allow water flow and source protection

Cleanup of water sources to remove deadly blue-green algae infestation which inhibits water flow, kills wildlife, destroys water quality and is dangerous to humans
Riverbank cleanup and replanting with native flora to protect sensitive banks from degradation and to decrease deadly salination
Revegetation with native species to regenerate the area surrounding water sources and thereby protect ongoing water quality and flow
By working together to save water resources, keep rivers and creeks flowing and cleaning up water sources, we can sustain our environment for generations to come.
